Reply to Mitch's Love

Dear Mitch,
You have no chance with me. I hate the scent of you and your nasty red hair. I want to get a restraining order against you since you are so nasty. I know I am beautiful and that is the reason you don't have a chance with me. I will never date a white man, specially with red hair. That beard you are trying to grow just looks like a nasty grease pit. When you wear your polar bear pants and shave your head I just think of all the nasty things you look like. Also, you are so stupid and unathletic that you broke your thumb while playing the outfield in practice. You pitch, but you aren't that good. There is no way in the world that you will go pro so you should just quit. My mom throws a baseball harder than you but, you still insist on playing when you can't catch, hit, or throw. Just quit. I have never loved you and never will.

Carrie Underwood

Dear Carrie Underwood,

Your voice sounds like an angel with your looks it is pure beauty. Your blonde hair and your sparkiling white teeth are amazing. If I ever met you I would stand in awe in the presence of your amazing beauty. If I did meet you I wouldn't know what to say. The reason this is so short is that no one can explain all the great things about you.

Love Always,
Benjamin Demeritt

Macbeth

So far Macbeth isn't that bad of a story. The language is hard, but when I think about the story. I don't hate it and sort of enjoy it. Macbeth would be fun to read if the language wasn't so hard. With Mr. Lunn breaking down the meaning of the story i think Macbeth seems like it would be good if it wasn't hard to read. When i think about the story I don't think it is stupid like A Midsummer Night's Dream. Macbeth is an intersting story that involves violence and isn't weird and out of the ordinary.

Writing

All throughout high school I haven't been a good writer. I have struggled with making my thoughts sound the right way and putting my thoughts on paper. I have also struggled with the introduction paragraph. I am not good at thesis or hooks. Coming in at freshmen year I had no idea what a hook was, but now I am improving and being able to answer the question more fluently.

"I am irritated by my own writing. I am like a violinist whose ear is true, but whose fingers refuse to reproduce precisely the sound he hears within."

My Hero

The assaignment for who my hero is comes fairly easy for me. Growing up my hero has always been Brett Favre. Even though I don't play football I admire how Brett Favre carries himself as a teammate and the way he plays the game. In my opinion he is toughest guy to play in the NFl ever. There were times he has been in pain, but still managed to play football. Also unlike other athletes he isn't cocky. He acts like a regular guy and doesn't drive really expensive vehicles or live in a huge mansion. Brett Favre has fought through so much adversity from playing the day after his dad died and becoming the starting quarterback at Southern Miss after being listed as the seventh quarterback on the depth chart. Brett Favre is an example of where hardwork and determination can get you.
